The Past 2 Years:

I moved to New York two years ago with the conviction of working as a full-time actor. Over the past two years I have performed in showcases, created my own cabaret act, toured with the National Touring company of a Broadway show, choreographed concert dances, continued my studies in acting, dancing and singing, and worked at theaters in New York City and New York State.

Why I'm Looking for Representation:

I feel that the next step in my acting career is to 1) work with an agent and 2) diversify my resume and skills. The majority of my experience has been in musical theater, but I am looking to do more straight theater and expand into film and television. This past summer I did some work as an extra in a feature film and got a small taste of what the film industry is like. I recently attended some sample classes at the School for Film and Television and plan on taking some commercial classes there. I am always striving to expand my skills and would appreciate an agent who could suggest classes and instructors that will aid me in sharpening my current skills while gaining new ones. And most importantly, I am seeking an agent who believes as strongly as I do in my abilities and inherent uniqueness that will catch the eye of casting directors, directors, and audiences, allowing me to work and grow in this wonderful profession I have chosen.
